Tuesday Aug 3rd PRE MATCH starts at 6pm Meet “Roary” at 6.30pm KICK OFF AT 7.15 pm |

Creek’s domination of recent games without reward changed at Usher Park on Saturday night when they beat Qld Lions 2-0. The score-line did not reflect Creek’s supremacy with first half goals from Jai Ingham and Zac Moors sealing the win. Mickey G had a penalty saved after Asa Harrington had been bought down in the box. Whilst Creek’s intensity dropped a little in the second half they created enough chances to win the game far more comfortably. Meadowbrook Hotel man of the Match was Andy McIntyre who came into the side due to the suspension of Rhys Jackson, posing a headache for Creek coach Noel Flynn for this Saturday’s clash against league leaders Western Spirit. In the reserves a superb hat-trick from the diminutive Sean Doohan saw Creek win 3-0, again the score-line not reflecting the dominance and chances that came their way. This win sees Creek move into the top 4. |
